Stuart Shooting Center offers gun enthusiasts a state-of-the-art experience within its 10,000 square foot facility. Here, everyone from the novice to the expert can enjoy 10 climate controlled shooting lanes with electronically adjustable targets up to 75 feet in distance. Equipped with ballistically secure ceilings and walls within the booths, in between shooters and downrange, Stuart Shooting Center ensures the safety of all its guests. “Safety is paramount to us, and this includes our top notch air quality system as well as the fact that we wipe down, sanitize and vacuum the range each night to keep it free from lead,” said Debbie Redditt, owner. For Debbie and her husband Jamie, the Stuart Shooting Center is not just their family business, it’s a dream come true. Before opening, they spent many months researching other facilities from here to Georgia, taking note of what they liked, what they didn’t and how they would make their center top of the line.
And it seems they got the formula right, because after just a few years in the area, the Stuart Shooting Center has become a popular place for local shooters. They offer several different classes including Concealed Carry, Handgun 101, introductory safety skills and marksmanship and more. And if you’re considering buying a handgun, you can browse through their retail shop, located within the center. The shop offers a wide selection of handguns and will even let you rent a gun to see how well it works for you before purchasing. You can also pick up ammo, clothing and accessories.
For those who’d rather watch than shoot, Stuart Shooting Center features a relaxing spectator lounge with comfortable seating, free WIFI, flat screen TVs and large bulletproof windows where you can catch all the action. And, because the range is insulated with double ballistic acoustic foam, the area is surprisingly quiet.
